Vacation, Alumni Basketball & Training Setback: Two Weeks of Triathlon Prep

These past two weeks were a mix of vacation in Curacao, alumni basketball fun, and a significant break from my triathlon training. While I enjoyed incredible food, drinks, and relaxation, my workouts took a backseat, and my nutrition wasn’t ideal. I’m reflecting on the setbacks and planning to get back into the gym and the kitchen, ready to refocus on my Ironman 70.3 training.

Week 2 Triathlon Training: Overcoming Busy Schedule and Getting Back Outside

Week 2 of triathlon training proved to be a busy one, but I made the most of it with a mix of bike sprints, core workouts, strength training, and a rare January outdoor run. Despite a packed schedule, I stayed on track with my workouts and nutrition, and even managed to enjoy some downtime with family and friends. As I prepare for a vacation later in the week, I’m keeping my focus on maintaining my training plan.
