Maddie's Homemade Peanut Butter!
Are you a peanut butter lover like me?!
Growing up, my family would often vacation in Sanibel Island, Florida. It’s where my parents honeymooned, and my Grandparents used to spend their winters there. Going to the sample place every year, my Grandparents made many friends from all over the country, and the world. One of them, his name was Mr. Greel, and he & his wife were from Boston, gave our family this peanut butter recipe, and it’s been my favorite peanut butter ever since! It’s super simple, and it only involved one ingredient: peanuts!
All you need is one container of honey roasted peanuts, one container of dry roasted peanuts, and a food processor! That’s it! You can put the blended peanut butter in the empty peanut containers, or put them in cute mason jars if you have them!
I LOVE this peanut butter for smoothies, açaí bowls, protein bites, toast, dipping apples & bananas, or simply just enjoying a spoonful at a time!
One ProTIP! Make sure to look at the ingredients on the labels! Not all brands are created equal! Funny enough, from my experience, the generic brands tend to be the ones with less added ingredients!
Also, I LOVE giving this peanut butter as gifts. It can be a great hostess gift, teacher gift, or gift for family members!
Click on this video and learn how I make it! I hope you enjoy it as much as we do in our house!
P.S. Our dog loves it, too!
Always keepin’ it real,
Maddie McCoy
